The son of a physiologist G.N. Kassil (1902-1986).
Biography
Born November 18, 1928 in Moscow.
In 1952, he graduated from the 2nd Moscow State Medical Institute .
From 1952 to 1956, he was a psychiatrist in Kazakhstan.
Since 1956, he was a senior laboratory assistant, junior research associate of the group of Academician V.N. Cherninovsky at the Biology Department of the USSR Academy of Sciences.
Since 1961, he was a researcher at the Institute of Physiology , since 1972, he was the head of the Laboratory of Ontogenesis of Higher Nervous Activity.
Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (1995); Full member of the International Academy of Informatization; Member of the International Association for the Study of Brain "IBRO"; member of the International Society for Age-related Neuroscience (ISDN); Academician of the New York Academy of Sciences .
He died in 1999. He was buried at the Don cemetery .
