Tashkent State University of the Uzbek language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi ( UZB. Alisher Navoiy nomidagi Toshkent davlat o'zbek tili va adabiyoti Universiteti / Alisher Navoi nomidagi Tashkent Dawlat ўzbek tili va Adabiyoti Universiteti / علیشیر نوایی نامیداگی تاشکنت دولت اوذبک تیلی و ادبیاتی انیورسیتتی) - State University , located in the capital of Uzbekistan Tashkent . It bears the name of the famous Uzbek , Turkic and Central Asian poet , philosopher and statesman - Alisher Navoi . It is the main regulatory institution of the Uzbek language .

By decree of May 13, 2016 No. UP-4797 "On the organization of the Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi", a new university was founded, which will be concentrated for in-depth study and development of the Uzbek language and literature [1] .
According to the decree, the academic year at the university began with the 2016/2017 academic year. The university consists of three faculties and inter-faculty educational departments. The head of the university is the rector [1] .
The structure of the Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi, except for faculties and departments, includes a museum of the Uzbek language and literature, an educational and methodical department, a magistracy department, a department for research and training of scientific and pedagogical personnel, an editorial and publishing department, and a research Institute of Uzbek Language and Literature, Department of International Relations, Department of Marketing and Employment of Graduates, Center for Training and Advanced Studies of Uzbek Specialists yka and Literature, Information Resource Center, Information Technology Center, on spirituality department, enlightenment and work with talented young people, and other departments [1] .
