Background
During 2016, a number of terrorist acts were committed in Turkey, the organizers of which were probably the Islamic State (ISIS) or the Kurdistan Freedom Falcons . Earlier, the largest terrorist attack in Turkey in 2016 was the August terrorist attack in Gaziantep . The December terrorist attack in Istanbul was the seventh in 2016 and the bloodiest this year in the city after the terrorist attack at Ataturk Airport [4]

Two explosions occurred in Istanbul in the evening of December 10, 2016, one of them occurred at 10.30 pm local time near the Vodafon Arena stadium, where the Turkish Championship game between the Besiktas and Bursaspor teams was held, an explosion of a mined car occurred near a bus with special forces of the Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs guarding the match, another in the area of Dolmabahce Park some time after the first explosion [5] [6] [7] [8] .

President Recep Erdogan called the incident a terrorist attack, promising to continue the fight against terrorists [9] and canceled his visit to Kazakhstan [10] . Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım called the organizers of the bombings “enemies of mankind” [11] . Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmush called the banned Kurdistan Workers' Party the organizer of the attack [12] .
In connection with the terrorist attacks in Turkey, national mourning was declared [8] , and national mourning was declared in the unrecognized world community of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus [13] .
