Club career
Dodo is a graduate of the Coritiba Club. On May 15, 2016, in his match against Cruzeiro , he made his debut in the Brazilian Series A [3] . In the same year, Dodo made his debut in the Cup of Brazil and the Cup of South America . In total, in the championship of Brazil in 2016 , he spent 26 matches. At 22, he went out at the base, 18 played before the final whistle. He designed two assists, received four yellow. In the 2017 championship draw, the footballer also spent most of his matches and played for the first time in the state championship of Parana , where they became champions.
In September 2017, Dodo had a fight with fans on Instagram . After losing to Palmeiras , the defender replied to the fan that he would be happy to leave the club in winter if they continue to criticize him. Fans in response called for a boycott of the Coritiba games while the Dodo plays there. The club had to convene a special press conference at which the defender apologized.
On December 8, 2017, he signed a five-year contract with the Ukrainian club Shakhtar (Donetsk) [4] . In addition to the Pitmen, the Portuguese Benfica and the German Schalke claimed the Brazilian [5] . On April 7, 2018, in his match against Veres , he made his debut in the Ukrainian championship , replacing Alan Patrick in the second half [6] .
In the summer of that year, Dodo went on loan to the Portuguese club Vitoria Guimaraes . On August 10, in a match against the capital's Benfica , he made his debut in the Sangrish League [7] .
International Career
In 2015, Dodo took part in the youth World Cup in Chile . At the tournament, he played in matches against the teams of Guinea [8] and Nigeria [9] .
In 2017, Dodo, as part of the Brazilian youth team, took part in the South American Youth Championship in Ecuador . In the tournament, he played in matches against the teams of Chile [10] , Paraguay [11] , Argentina [12] , Venezuela [13] , Uruguay [14] and twice Ecuador [15] [16] and Colombia [17] [18] .
