Biography
He was born on May 12 ( May 24 in a new style) in 1868 in the Orthodox noble family of the Simbirsk province . [one]
He studied at the Simbirsk cadet corps . He entered the military service on September 1, 1886. Then he graduated from the 1st Pavlovsk Military School and was released into the 118th Shuisky Infantry Regiment . Second lieutenant since 1887, lieutenant since 1891, staff captain since 1898. He graduated from the Officers Rifle School , receiving the rank of captain in 1900. Then, from 1905, he served in the 234th Syzran Reserve Battalion. He was promoted to lieutenant colonel in 1911. As of May 1913, Mikhail Werner served as commander of the 9th company of the 195th Orovai Infantry Regiment , located in Nizhny Tagil. [2]
Member of the First World War - together with the Orovai Regiment, he left for the front, took part in the hostilities in Galicia. [2] Then he was the head of the economic unit of the regiment, later - temporarily served as commander of the regiment. The battalion commander of the 169th infantry reserve regiment - since November 1915, received the rank of colonel in the same year. He became the commander of the 169th infantry reserve regiment in 1916. April 12, 1917 M.N. Werner was credited to the reserve of ranks at the headquarters of the Kazan military district .
After the October Revolution , Mikhail Werner became a member of the White movement in eastern Russia. He participated in the formation of the 2nd Infantry Division in Yekaterinburg , which was renamed the 12th Ural Infantry Division on December 16, 1918 and was included in the 6th Ural Corps of the Western Army in January 1919. He was the commander of the 1st Brigade of the 12th Ural Rifle Division since March 1919. He participated in the spring offensive of the armies of Admiral A.V. Kolchak , took part in the battles on the Ufa front near Ufa , Zlatoust and Chelyabinsk . He received the rank of Major General in June 1919. Since November of the same year, he was in the reserve of ranks at the headquarters of the Irkutsk military district and stood on military records under the command of the commandant of Irkutsk. March 31, 1920 the medical commission of the Irkutsk Provincial Military Commissariat for health reasons was declared subject to dismissal from military service.
The further fate of Mikhail Nikolaevich Werner is unknown.
He was married to Olga Dmitrievna Sadovnikova, daughter of the poet, folklorist and ethnographer Dmitry Nikolaevich Sadovnikov . [3] Son - Dmitry was born in 1894.
