Bileulinsky Caravanserai

Bileulinsky Caravanserai - a monument of architecture of the XIV century. Located on Ustyurt . In 1982, it was investigated by the expedition of the Kazakh Committee for the Design and Restoration of Monuments (headed by A. Tokhtabaev). It arose in the Middle Ages on a caravan road from the city of Sarayshyk to Khiva through Ustyurt between the Aral and Caspian seas . 2 columns of height approx. 8 m and the gate. The upper part of the gate in the form of an arch is lined with red brick, the door is 7.66 m high with two bas-relief images of lions. Bileulinsky Caravanserai - 2-storey building of 14 rooms, 7 per floor, with heating system. In the center of the courtyard of the caravanserai there is a well.
