Biography

Graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) of the USSR Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1964). Fluent in English and French . In diplomatic service since 1964.

  • From March 16, 1993 to October 16, 1998 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (until 1997 - Zaire ) [1] [2] .
  • In 1999 - 2001 - Deputy Director of the Second Department of the CIS countries at the Foreign Ministry of Russia.
  • In 2002 - 2004 - Consul General of Russia in Antwerp ( Belgium ).
