The village is located 20 km north of the city of Alexandrov .

History

in 1460, the village of Ryuminskoye was bequeathed to Grand Duke Vasily Vasilyevich, Princess Mary Yaroslavna , from that time until almost the end of the 17th century, Ryuminskoye was among the sovereign palace villages. It is known that Tsar Fedor Alekseevich during his praying trip to Pereslavl-Zalessky in 1676 passed through Ryumin and spent the night there.

In 1688, Tsars Peter and John Alekseevich granted Ryuminskoye to his fellow boyar, who became the father-in-law of Tsar John, Fyodor Petrovich Saltykov with all the land with the right to sell it, lay it and give in a dowry, only not to give it to the monastery to its liking; in the absence of any direct heirs, the granted patrimony is again sent to the sovereign.

From the Saltykovs, Ryuminskoye passed into the possession of Prince Ivan Fedorovich Romodanovsky , who received it as a dowry for his wife, Nastasya Saltykova. In 1722, Ryuminskoe entered the dowry of the daughter of Prince Romodanovsky, Catherine, who was married to Count Golovkin , but in 1742 Golovkin was exiled to Siberia and his dowry was taken to the treasury . The following year, this patrimony was granted by Empress Elizabeth Petrovna to Major General Alexei Shubin and the family of these landowners, the Ryumin patrimony belonged to the abolition of serfdom in 1861 .

In the patriarchal salary books of 1628 in the village of Ryuminsky it means " Church of St. miracles Cosmas and Damian. " In 1754, the church burned down and a new one was acquired in its place, acquired from the abolished Simeonovsky Monastery, which was consecrated in 1777 in the same name. In 1806, the local landowners of Shubin decided to build a stone temple, which was consecrated in 1808, at the same time a stone bell tower was also built [2] .

In the XIX and first quarter of the XX century, the village was part of the Alexander volost of the Alexander district . Population ( 1859 ) - 442 [3] people.
