Biography
In 1956 he graduated from school, in 1961 - the faculty of mechanization of agricultural processes of the Stavropol Agricultural Institute with the qualification of mechanical engineer. He worked at the Stavropol Machine-Building Plant - assistant to the master of the assembly shop, technical information engineer, senior technical information manager [1] .
Since 1964 he lives in Uryupinsk. He worked at the Krasnaya Zvezda Special Economic Zone (designer, chief designer of design bureaus, head of the preparatory workshop), in 1972-1975 - instructor of the organizational department of the CPSU city committee. In 1975-1984 - Director of the Uryupinsky Butter Plant; carried out the reconstruction of the plant, the construction of new workshops [1] .
Since 1984 - Director of the largest in the region Uryupinsky meat-packing factory, then - Director of a newly built butter factory. In 1988-1995, he was the director of the Mikhailovsky butter and cheese factory, which became the best enterprise in the industry in the country [1] .
In 1995-2005 - the head of the administration of Uryupinsk [1] . He facilitated the opening of a full-time branch of the Volgograd State University branch in Uryupinsk [2] ; the creation of the Uryupinsk city brand: initiated the installation of a goat monument in the city in 2000 (the city is known for producing goat’s shawls), the opening of the Goat Museum, the city festival “Goat Day” (Miss Goat contest, goat-slaughtering championship) ) [3] [4] . He criticized the Law on Local Self-Government, which did not solve the issues of financing municipalities [5] [6] .
In 2014, he was a torchbearer in the Olympic torch relay in Uryupinsk [7] .

Father - Pavel Iosifovich Sushko, participant in the Great Patriotic War; went from a bookkeeper to the director of a large state farm in the Stavropol Territory [1] .
Mother - Ksenia Platonovna Sushko, secretary of the trade union committee [1] .
