Vores Øl (from the Danish. - "Our Beer") - the first open source beer .

The recipe is published under the Creative Commons Attribution - Share Alike 2.0 license . The beer was created by students of the Institute of Information Technology in Copenhagen along with a group of artists called Superflex to show society that open source principles can be applied not only to the digital world, but also to the production of tangible goods.

The first 100 liters of dark beer brewed by students in the school cafeteria were called “version 1.0”, which already contained a hint that the product would still be developed.

After that, changes were added to the recipe, after which the site opened.

At the moment, beer has reached version 4.1.
