Biography
He was born on April 1, 1925 into a peasant family in the village of Tyurikov, Krasnomylsky village council, Shadrinsky district, Shadrinsky district, Ural region of the RSFSR , now Kurgan region .
After graduating from a seven-year school in 1941, he worked as a trailer, steering the combine in the Volna agricultural cartel.
Since January 1942, he worked as a fitter at the Shadrinsk Automobile Unit Plant . He worked with an experienced installer for three months, and then on his own. A year later, he had the 7th (highest) rank. He graduated from the Shadrinsky Automechanical College (today - Shadrinsky Polytechnic College [1] ). He worked at SHAAZ as a shift, then as a senior foreman.
In 1952 he joined the Communist Party . Since 1953, he worked as a mechanic at the Mehonsky MTS of the Mehonsky District . In 1959 he was elected chairman of the collective farm "Russia" Shatrovsky district . He managed this company until his retirement in 1985.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of June 23, 1966, he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the awarding of the Order of Lenin and the gold medal "for the successes achieved in increasing the production and harvesting of wheat, rye, buckwheat, rice, and other grain and fodder crops and high-performance use of equipment" Sickle and Hammer . "
He was elected as a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of the 7th and 8th convocations (1966-1974), a member of the Shatrovsky district committee and the Kurgan regional committee of the CPSU.
After retiring in 1985, he lived in the village of Mehonsky, Shatrovsky District.
He died on February 20, 2005 .

At the house where A.I. lived Sochnev in the village of Mehonsky, Shatrovsky district, Kurgan region, a memorial plaque was installed, and the Red Eagles Street on which he lived was renamed Sochneva Street.
