Fanny Smets ( German: Fanny Smets , born April 21, 1986 , Cologne ) is a Belgian pole vaulter . The 13-time champion of Belgium (6 at the stadium: 2009—2011, 2013, 2016, 2017; 7 indoors: 2008–2011, 2016–2018), holder of several national records of Belgium in pole vaulting [2] [3] .

Biography and career
In 2006 she switched to the pole vault from gymnastics. In 2008, she first became the champion of Belgium. In 2013 she graduated from the University of Liège . She participated in four European team championships (2009, 2010, 2011, 2013) [4] .
