Metal Injection is a metal news site . It was created in the summer of 2003 and opened to visitors in January 2004 [1] by co-owners Robert Pasbani (also known as DJ radio station Sirius XM ) and video producer Frank Godla. [2] Before the format of the news site, Metal Injection broadcast a half-hour show, on Saturdays at 3 o'clock in the morning, containing music videos and live recordings. [3] Website content consists of reviews, [4] original video materials (interviews and music documentaries) [5] and various podcasts, such as Metal Injection Livecast , Full Metal Hipster and Relapse Podcast . [6]

In 2012, Metal Injection won the “Beyond the Blog” award at the MTV Online Music Awards awards ceremony. [7]
In 2015, on the Metal Injection site (as part of the SXSW festival ), Veil of Maya , Cancer Bats , KEN mode , Full of Hell , Felix Martin, Mantar and Moon Tooth groups performed. [8] The following year, Steve 'N' Seagulls , Exmortus , Wild Throne, The Fine Constant, Wrong, Take Over And Destroy and Aminals performed at the Metal Injection site. [9]
