Career

He was in Kuibyshev in 1941 as a result of evacuation. Started playing football in 1954 in the local youth team "Sunrise" with coach Vladimir Zamyatin . In 1957 he graduated from the Volgograd Institute of Physical Culture and Sports . He made his debut with Wings of the Soviets on October 19, 1958 in the last match of the season against Shakhtar Donetsk. For “Wings” he played 13 seasons until 1970. After finishing his career, he worked for many years in Wings of the Soviets as a coach (1980-1986), team leader (1987-1991) and president (1996-1998).
