Biography
Mother - Nina Donatovna Fesenko (1917–2005) - accompanist. Father - Nikolay Nikiforovich Fesenko (1911-1992) is a professional military man. He taught at the Kiev Artillery School. In 1941, in connection with the beginning of the war, he received a direction from the school to Krasnoyarsk, went there with his wife. [one]
Natalia's elder sister, Lyudmila and grandmothers, remained in Kiev. On August 27, 1943, the second daughter Natalia was born in Krasnoyarsk in the Fesenko family. In March 1943, they returned to liberated Kiev and the family was reunited.
In 1950, the family went to Sakhalin, where Nikolai Nikiforovich was sent to serve as regiment commander.
1954 - Natalia with her mother and sister returned to Kiev. In 1955, the father returns.
Natalia is still a schoolgirl fascinated puppet theater. She organizes a puppet club in her 25th Kiev school and leads it from 1956 to 1961.
Nina Donatovna receives an invitation as concertmaster at the children's puppet theater of the October Palace of Pioneers, led by Yevgeny and Nina Livanov. Then, in 1955, Natalia became a member of this group, along with Aristarkh and Igor Livanov, now famous actors of theater and cinema. She will stay there until 1960. At the same time, Natasha attends a theater studio under the direction of the People’s Artist of the USSR Yuriy Lavrov , the leading artist of the Kyiv Theater named after Lesya Ukrainka.
In 1960, she enters the professional scene as an actress. On the stage of the Kiev Republican Puppet Theater will stay 2 years. And in 1962 he will return to the children, the head of the puppet theater of the Podolsk Palace of Pioneers. There, for the first time, he will test his method of working with a doll, which in a decade of practice will form into a complete system.
In 1970, N. Buchma entered the Kiev Institute of Theater Art. IK Karpenko-Kary (now Kiev National University of Theater, Cinema and Television named after IK Karpenko-Kary) to the department of directing of drama theater. Her teachers were the famous stage masters O. Solomarsky and M. Rudin.
In 1974-1975, Natalia Buchma staged undergraduate and diploma performances at the Odessa Puppet Theater . The performances have received the recognition of the audience, critics, the highest mark in the diploma and the award of the All-Union Festival of the Pioneer Organization - a diploma of the 1st degree for staging the play “Never Go Out” by V. Orlov . Even then, she struck the audience, critics and teachers with outstanding skill and innovation.
After graduating in 1975, she heads the Kherson Puppet Theater. There, a young director creates a group of like-minded people and puts on plays that have repeatedly been awarded prizes and high awards. And for the first time in the professional environment he introduces his pedagogical achievements into theatrical practice.
Since 1978, Natalia Buchma - chief director of the Chernigov Puppet Theater . Despite the lack of professional education and skills among the performers of this theater, over the years it has been able to create a strong professional troupe. Working with her was a good school for artists. The troupe created performances that remained in the history of the theater. These performances are loved by the audience.
Since 1981, Natalia Buchma has been the main director of the Krivoy Rog puppet theater , the head of the theater studio. First of all, she launched a large-scale pedagogical activity, which was multi-vector and became a kind of university for theater artists. They were engaged in stage speech, plastic, vocal, rhythm, stage battle, fencing. But the main thing was the education of the artist of the puppet theater on the method developed by Natalia Nikolaevna. He allowed to modernize the acting technique and not only improve certain links of acting, but completely change the whole psychophysical apparatus of the artist. Studio classes were closely related to practice. Almost every new performance by N. Buchma in Krivoy Rog was experimental and aroused genuine interest of the entire theater community.
The birth of a daughter, whom the local climate did not suit, forces Buchma to leave the theater, where everything is settled and succeeds. From 1985 to 1997. she is a production director at the Kiev City Puppet Theater (now the Kiev Municipal Academic Puppet Theater ). Here she also works with artists on her program. And puts performances that stand the test of time, go for 15 - 20 years, without losing their artistry and relevance.
Many of her performances today can be called a classic puppet theater. First of all, it is “A cat with songs”, based on Ukrainian songs, folklore. The performance was marked by the 1995 Kiev Pectoral in the nomination “For the best performance for children”.
For many years, as the chief director of the Kherson , Chernihiv , Krivoy Rog puppet theaters and the director of the Kiev Municipal Puppet Theater has created a whole gallery of bright performances.
