Early life

Greene was born into a Jewish family [1] and raised in Mamaronek, New York .

Movie / TV

Green is the creator and screenwriter of the 2009 NBC drama series Kings , which is based on the biblical story of King David , but the action takes place in an alternate present. Green’s other works on television include The Widower ’s Love , Smallville , Jack and Bobby , Sex and the City , and Heroes . In 2012, he wrote the script and became the executive producer of the pilot for the ABC channel called Gotham, and also became the executive producer of the River series on the same channel.

Green is the author of the script for the film Green Lantern . In 2007, Michael, along with the rest of the screenwriters, was nominated for an Emmy Award for Best Drama Series [2] and a Screenwriters Guild Award for the new series. [3] At the 33rd People's Choice Awards , Heroes won the award as Favorite New TV Drama. [four]

Green is one of the screenwriters of the Blade Runner sequel , directed by Denis Villeneuve , and it has been reported that he is writing the script for the sequel to Ridley Scott 's Prometheus . He is currently writing the script for the new “ Murder on the Orient Express ,” “ Logan, ” and also, with Brian Fuller, writes the scripts, produces and directs the television adaptation of “The American Gods ” by Neil Gaiman .
