Career

Club

Born in Belgrade and the first years of his career spent in the football club " Rad ".

Before the start of the 2007/08 season, Federick Herpool left the Belgian “ Gent ” and defended the team gates for ten years. Yorgatsevich was bought by the club as the second goalkeeper. But the “first issue” Alexander Martynovich did not show himself and the Serb became a player in the starting lineup. He played quite well and was honored with compliments from fans.

He started the new season as a key player at Gent and said that he wanted to become a symbol of the team. After his graduation, Yorgatsevich extended the contract with the club until 2012. The 2009/10 season was the most successful in the history of Gent - he won the Belgian Cup and finished second in the championship. Together with central defenders Marco Schuler , Steph Wils and Jorgatsevich, the team formed one of the most reliable defensive lines in Belgium. But the position of the goalkeeper in the Serbian national team was occupied by Vladimir Stojkovic .

In 2011, he moved to Brugge , signing a contract with this club until 2016 [1]

On January 6, 2015, the goalkeeper moved to the Bulgarian Levski . [2] He made his debut for the new club on March 14 in a match against the club Marek 2010 . Now he is the main goalkeeper of the club. In November 2015, he extended the contract with Levski until the end of the 2017/18 season [3]

In the national team

In November 2010, Yorgatsevich was called up to the Serbian national team for participation in a friendly match against Bulgaria on November 17. In that game, he made his debut for the national team, spending 90 minutes on the field. The following year, the Serb played for the national team in several qualifying matches for Euro 2012 : against Northern Ireland (did not miss goals in it), the national team of the Faroe Islands , Italy and Slovenia .
