Biography

He graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute (1943) and the Higher Diplomatic School of the USSR Foreign Ministry (1947). Doctor of Historical Sciences (1978), Honored Worker of Culture of the RSFSR (1980). In diplomatic service since 1947.

  • In 1947 - 1951 he was an employee of the USSR mission in Thailand .
  • In 1951 - 1956 - in responsible work in the central office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR.
  • In 1956 - 1958 - Counselor of the Permanent Mission of the USSR to the UN .
  • In 1958 - 1964 - in responsible work in the central office of the USSR Foreign Ministry.
  • In 1964 - 1967 - Minister Counselor of the USSR Embassy in France .
  • In 1967 - 1968 - in responsible work in the central office of the USSR Foreign Ministry.
  • From April 16, 1968 to December 29, 1970 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USSR in the Democratic Republic of the Congo [1] .
  • In 1971 - 1981 - in responsible work in the central office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR.

Since 1981 - retired. Since 1978 - on the scientific and teaching work at MGIMO .
