Sirinton (b. April 2, 1955) is a Thai princess who was considered a possible contender for the throne of Thailand after the death of her father, King Bhumibol Adunyadet , while it was unclear whether the country's Constitution allows the transfer of the throne to a woman [2] [3] [4] . The throne, however, was eventually taken over by the new King Maha Wachiralongkon .

She received a very versatile education, including abroad. He has a number of academic degrees ( PhD , 1987) and teaching experience. In addition to Thai, he speaks English, French, Chinese and German.

- Aenictus shilintongae is an ant discovered in 2016 and named after the princess [5] .
- Sirindhorna is a genus of herbivorous ornithopod dinosaurs.
- Phuwiangosaurus sirindhornae is a genus of herbivorous dinosaur dinosaurs.
- The white-eyed river swallow ( Pseudochelidon sirintarae ) is a species of bird.
Interesting Facts
During a three-day visit to Cambodia in 2016, an outstanding toilet was built for the princess [6] [7] , which she did not use, but came to see [8] .
On November 29, 2017, she visited St. Nicholas Cathedral in Bangkok, where she attended a divine service and got acquainted with the Orthodox shrines of the temple [9] .
