Glen is from a family of famous Scottish curlingists. His father is Gordon Moorhead , the champion of the world and Europe, as well as the coach of the national teams of Scotland and Great Britain. His sister is Yves Moorhead , world and European champion, Olympic medalist, skip to the Scottish women's team . His younger brother is Thomas Merhead , the junior world champion.
