Virididentex acromegalus (lat.) Is a species of ray-finned fish of the family of pair (Sparidae). Distributed in the eastern Atlantic , endemic to the coastal waters of Cape Verde . They reach a length of 52 cm [1] . Virididentex acromegalus is a benthic species. They live among coral reefs on a rocky bottom at a depth of 40-60 m.
