Biography

Graduate of the Gremio Academy. Since 2010, he played for the youth squad of Juventude (since 2011 - in the first team). He made his debut on a professional level immediately against one of the grandees of Brazilian football and one of the strongest clubs in South America at the turn of decades - Internacional . The match between these teams on March 17 ended with a major victory for Inter - 7-0, however, the goalkeeper-debutant made several saves in this game, preventing him from making the score even bigger [2] . Jackson played for Juventude in 2012 in four more Gaucher League games, in which he missed two goals. He also played in 10 Series D matches and conceded eight goals. He also played in two matches of the Brazil Cup 2012, from which “Juventude” took off, losing to “Portuguese” (0: 4, 2: 0).

In 2013-2014, Jackson fought for a place at the base of his native Gremio. But in two years he managed to play only in four matches of the League to Gausch.

In 2015, Folman moved to Linens. For the year, he played only one half in a match against Ituano in the framework of the Paulista League . In 2016, Folman became the main goalkeeper of the URT team in the Championship of the Mineiro League . For the team from Patus di Minas, Jackson played in 12 matches, in which he conceded 11 goals.

On May 19, 2016, Folman joined the Club A Club Chapecoense. In this team he had the status of the third goalkeeper, however, both main goalkeepers had already been in 30 years, so the purchase of Jackson by the management of “Chape” was regarded as a prospect. Jackson played for the main squad of the Chapecoense in only one game, which at the same time became his debut in the international match, although he was opposed to the Green by another Brazilian club. In the preliminary stage of the South American Cup, “Chapecoense” away lost to “ Cuiaba ” with a minimum score of 0: 1 [3] . In the return mast, in which Daniil Padilla had already defended the Chape gates, the team won 3-1 and reached the 1/8 finals.

November 28, 2016 he was one of the six survivors after the fall of the BAe 146 aircraft flight 2933 during the flight from Santa Cruz ( Bolivia ) to Medellin (Colombia) [1] . As a result of the disaster, Folman received injuries in connection with which the goalkeeper had to amputate his leg [4] .

On October 20, 2017, Jackson married Andres Perkowski. Initially, the wedding was planned for December 16, 2017, but the ceremony was postponed due to a plane crash [5] . As of August 2018, Folman is a member of the Chapecoense Directorate and the club’s football ambassador [6] .
