Nadezhda Avramovna Belokon ( Ukrainian: Nadiya Avramivna Bilokin , September 8 (20), 1893 , Petrikovka - February 5, 1981 , Joyful ) - Ukrainian artist, master of Petrikov painting , master of folk art of the Ukrainian SSR (1936). Participant of international exhibitions. She created ornamental plant compositions traditional for Petrikov painting, using floral motifs of onions, curls, etc. The most famous works are “The Well in the Garden” (1929), “The Girl Enrolled” (1931), “Two Women” (1935), “Roman and Oksana” (1961) and “The Wedding Train” (1979). The works of Nadezhda Belokon are kept in the National Museum of Ukrainian Folk Decorative Art , in the Dnepropetrovsk Art Museum , in the Odessa Art Museum and several other museums.
