Biography

Pupil of Dushanbe football. At an adult level, he began performing in 1982 as part of the Motorist from Termez. Later he played for other clubs in Central Asia, including the leading team of Tajikistan - the Dushanbe Pamir . In 1987-1989 he served in the army, during this period he played for the Khabarovsk SKA for a short time.

In 1990, after the rehabilitation of the Crimean Tatars and their massive return to Crimea, Mustafayev, along with a number of other players of Crimean Tatar origin ( Tolyat Sheikhametov , Sefer Alibaev , Ayder Zeytullaev and others) joined the strongest team of the peninsula - Simferopol Tavria [1 ] . However, the defender could not break into the main team, and after only two games, left the team. In the same 1990, he played for another team from the Crimea - “ Ocean ” (Kerch), and in the last season of the USSR championship he played for the Sukhumi “ Dynamo ”.

In 1992 he joined the team of the major league of Ukraine - Chernivtsi " Bukovina ", in its composition spent a calendar year. At the beginning of 1993 he moved to Metalist , with whom he flew out of the Premier League in the 1993/94 season, the team took last, 18th place. The new season 1994/95 began as part of the Flint club, but in September 1994 he moved to the first-team Podillia , in which he played until the end of the year.

In 1995 he moved to the Russian Uralmash . The only match in the championship of Russia was played on April 29, 1995 against the Moscow Lokomotiv , replacing Sergey Zayets in the 67th minute [2] . In the summer of that year, he left Uralmash and joined the Luhansk Zara , with which, following the results of the 1995/96 season, he left the Premier League. In 1996, at the age of 31, he completed his professional career.

In total, he played 97 matches in the major league of Ukraine and did not score goals.

Since 1998 he lived in Troitsk (Moscow region), became one of the founders of the local amateur club "Troitsk", was his captain and playing coach. Silver medalist of the championship of the region (1999), winner of group “B” of the zone “Moscow Region” LFL (2001). At the same time he worked in the sports department of the city administration. In 2005, he ran for the local council of deputies [3] .

As of 2012, he worked as a breeder of Kazan Rubin [4] . In 2013, Mukhsin Muhamadiev , appointed coach of the Tajik national team, included Mustafayev in his headquarters as a physical training coach [5] .

Personal life

Married, has a son. Has a law degree.
