Biography
Pupil of Bryansk football. He started playing football in the section of SC “Desna” with coach Yuri Petrovich Ivanov, then he studied in the Bryansk “Metallurg”, and was also fond of hockey . At an adult level, he began to play for Desna in the competitions of physical education teams.
In the competitions of the teams of masters he made his debut in 1974 in the Kaluga Lokomotiv . The next season he moved to Bryansk, where he scored 14 times in 37 championship matches. In 1977 he made his debut in the Premier League as part of Kairat , played the opening match on 2 April 1977 against CSKA Moscow (2: 1) and scored a decisive goal in it in the 86th minute [1] . He also played for Elbrus from Nalchik and the Voronezh Fakel . He made a hat-trick against Dynamo Bryansk. He was invited to the Moscow " Torpedo ", but did not gain a foothold in the composition.
In 1979, he returned to Bryansk, for his entire career as a member of Dynamo scored 109 goals. He is the team’s top scorer in one season - in 1983 he scored 25 goals, and in terms of the total number of goals scored, he is second only to Vladimir Frolenkov. He became the author of the 700th goal in the history of the team - in 1979, at the gates of the Tula " Machine Builder ".
Also at the end of his career he played for the teams of the Kazakh SSR, scoring more than 80 goals in the Kazakh zone of the second league . He completed his career in the Bryansk Spartak . In all, during his career he scored 240 goals in official matches.
In 1997-98, he worked as the head of FC Dynamo (Bryansk) . He died on September 6, 2005.
