William (died after 1104) - from 1102 to 1104, who succeeded his brother Henry after his death, presumably on December 21, 1102.
According to Chronica Montasterii Casinensis , written by Leo of Ostia , William ( Guilelmus ), whom Leo calls “comes civitatis montis Sancti Michahelis archangeli” (“count of the city of St. Michael the Archangel”), made a donation to Montecassino in April 1100. The passage mentions his brother, but nothing is written about his death; he probably had already died by this time.
In October 1104, Roger Borsa , Duke of Puglia and overlord of William, besieged William in Monte Sant'Angelo and then expelled, abolishing his county. The further fate of William is unknown.
