Biography
Born October 8, 1936 in Aguascalientes. Was shot from 1958 to 2013. At first he played in the theater in plays, and since 1963 he made his debut in cinema. During his long fruitful life and career, he starred in 101 works in the cinema, among which there are also telenovelas. He owned Spanish and English, as a result, the first Mexican films he played and sold to Hollywood, he re-sounded into English himself without the help of dubbing actors. In the cinema, he acted not only at home in Mexico, but also in the USA, and also played in Mexican theater plays with prominent comedians Cantinflas and Luis Felipe Tovar . Real fame came to the actor in 1979, when director Fernando Chacon invited him to the cult television series “The Wealthy Are Weeping, too,” where he was entrusted with the main role of Luis Alberto Salvierra. After this premiere, the actor became a world celebrity, and in 1992 after the premiere of the television series “The Wealthy Are Weeping, too,” in the Russian Federation , he became famous in Russia, and the audience believed the hero Luis Alberto and fell in love with him. In 2013, after the release of the television series “What Stole My Life ”, he decided to leave the cinema and devote his life to his favorite theater, engaged in sculpting sculptural compositions, and also taught acting classes for both children and adults.
He died on February 28, 2018 in Mexico City from cardiac arrest.
