Biography
Born on November 1, 1936 in the village of Dmenis, Tskhinvali District. He worked in his native village, first as a simple collective farmer, then as a foreman of the Komsomol youth brigade of the horticultural collective farm.
In 1965, his team collected 237 centners of apples from each hectare, the most in the Georgian SSR.
Hero of Socialist Labor (04/02/1966).
Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR VII convocation (1966-1970).
Died November 14, 2016. In a newspaper article on the 80th anniversary and in an obituary, Sagkaev Grigori Alekseevich is named, all the other facts of the biography coincide.
