The 138th radio engineering brigade named after Bogdan Khmelnitsky (military unit A-1880) is a military unit in the composition of the Air Command of the Center of the Air Force of the Armed Forces . The team performs the tasks of protecting the state border of Ukraine in the airspace.

The regiment was formed on June 23, 1936 from the 12th and 13th separate airborne missile defense battalions [1] .
