Biography
He was born in the family of a metro builder and musical activist - a student of Alexander Goldenweiser . His ancestors lived in Kiev , part of his relatives died during the Great Patriotic War.
In 1953 he graduated from the Theater School named after M. S. Shchepkin , where he studied with Vera Pashennaya . For the first time he entered the stage while still a student in the play "Ivan the Terrible" at the Maly Theater .
In 1953-1956, Lev Krugly was an actor of the Khabarovsk Regional Drama Theater [1] . From Khabarovsk he returned to Moscow, played on the stage of " Contemporary ".
In 1964, along with several other actors, he followed the director Anatoly Efros, first to the Lenin Komsomol Theater (now Lenk ), and in 1967 to the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya . In 1965, the play “Marat, Lika and Leonidik” was released based on the play by Alexei Arbuzov “ My poor Marat ”, in which Leonidika was played by Lev Krugly, Lika by Olga Yakovleva , and Marata by Alexander Zbruev ; his success was Tuzenbach in Efros' Three Sisters .
He made his film debut in 1959 in the "Lullaby" directed by Mikhail Kalik . In the filmography of the actor, such films as “ 713th asks for a landing ”, “ Ahead - a sharp turn ”, “ Alive and dead ”, “ Noisy day ”, “ Gift of the black sorcerer ” and others.

In France, he lived with his family in Medon , a suburb of Paris .
Spouses staged performances and played them. Their two-actor theater lasted 25 years. Traveled with him all over America and Europe. Lev Krugly and his wife Natalya Enke came to Russia twice: for the first time with a tour to Moscow and Petersburg in 1993 at the invitation of the Ministry of Culture (performances “Poor People”, “Krotkaya” and “Marriage”), the second time in 2003 with a performance "In the carriage of the past." During the years of emigration he was baptized , was an ecumenist [2] .
In 2005, among other Russian cultural figures, he signed a letter calling for recognition of Mikhail Khodorkovsky as a political prisoner.
He died on November 17, 2010 in the clinic "Lember", in the suburbs of Paris, [3] .
