History
Founded in 1898 with the participation of the Belgian capital, the Russian Electric Society "Union" in 1898-1904. owned by the electrical equipment production enterprise that existed in Riga in 1888 , which was originally called the Russian-Baltic Electrotechnical Plant . The main part of the equipment and personnel of the plant of the former Russian electric society "Union" was in Kharkov. On November 20, 1916 , the grand opening of the new plant of the Universal Electricity Company took place. From December 20, 1917 , it was named Electrosila No. 1 .
