Larisa Ivanovna Khorolets ( Ukrainian Larisa Ivanivna Khorolets ; born August 25, 1948 , Kiev ) is a Soviet and Ukrainian actress, playwright, politician. People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR , the first Minister of Culture of Ukraine.

Biography
Born on August 25, 1948 in Kiev. At the age of 9, she made her film debut in the movie Partisan Spark . Subsequently starred in several films.
In 1970 she graduated from the Kiev Institute of Theater Arts. I. Karpenko-Kary specializing in drama and film actress. In 1970-1973 - an actress of the literary theater "Slovo" under the Union of Writers of Ukraine . Since 1973 - actress of the Kiev Academic Ukrainian Drama Theater named after I. Franko .
Since 1977, a member of the Union of Writers of Ukraine . Since 1988 - People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR . July 7, 1991 became the Minister of Culture of the Ukrainian SSR, and from August 24, 1991 to November 17, 1992 - Minister of Culture of Ukraine. In 1993-1998 - General Director of the Center "Ukrainian House" under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine . She was also the chairman of the National Revival Fund.
Member of the Presidium of the National Council of the Congress of Ukrainian Intelligentsia, Chairman of the Commission on Culture, Culture Attache of the Embassy of Ukraine in Germany, Laureate of the International Literary Prize named after Ivan Koshelivets (2001).
Since 2017, he has been the permanent head of the jury of the Grand Talent All-Ukrainian Festival of Children and Youth Creativity, which is held annually in the city of Volnogorsk (Ukraine). [2]
