Content
History
Date of establishment not established. The farm belonged to the yurt of the village of Nagavskaya of the Second Don Don District of the Land of the Don Army (since 1870 - the Region of the Don Army). According to the List of populated areas of the Earth of the Don Army in 1859, there were 10 yards on the Pohlebin farm, 36 men and 26 women [3] . According to the 1897 census , 129 male and 146 female souls lived on the farm. Most of the population was illiterate: literate men - 32, women - 1 [4] .
According to the alphabetical list of the populated areas of the Region, the Don army of 1915 on the farm lived 171 male and 171 female souls, there was a farm ataman [5]
In 1921, as part of the Second Don district, it was included in the Tsaritsyn province [6] . Since 1928 - as part of the Kotelnikovsky district of the Stalingrad district (the district was liquidated in 1930) of the Lower Volga region (since 1934 - the Stalingrad region [7] , since 1936 - the Stalingrad region) [8] . In 1949, in connection with the construction of the Tsimlyansk reservoir, the farm was moved a little higher on the slope.
In 1953 (according to other sources, in 1954) the Pohlebinsky village council was renamed Zakharovsky, the center of the village council was transferred to the Zakharov farm. In 1954, the Pohlebin farm was transferred to the Mayorovsky Village Council [8] .
Physico-geographical characteristics
The farm is located in the steppe , within the Ergeninsky Upland, on the shore of the Gulf of Tsimlyansk Reservoir , which formed in the lower reaches of the Aksay Kurmoyarsky River . The center of the farm is located at an altitude of about 45 meters above sea level [9] . Soils are dark chestnut solonetzic and solonchak soils [10] .
A highway passes through the farm, connecting the city of Kotelnikovo and the Vesely farm. By road, the distance to the regional center of Volgograd is 220 km, to the regional center of Kotelnikovo - 17 km. The nearest village, Mayorovsky Farm, is located 6.6 km south of the Pohlebin Farm [11]
