Biography
Member of World War II. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1944. At the end of the Odessa Artillery School F. Babansky - at the front. Artillery officer. Retreated, was surrounded, participated in the offensive. In February 1945 he was injured.
In 1950 he graduated from the journalism department of the Kharkov Party School, in 1959 - Higher Literary Courses in Moscow.
He worked in the editorial offices of the regional newspaper “Dawn of the Poltava Region” (1948-1967), “Komsomolets of the Poltava Region”. Combined journalistic and literary work.
In 1956-1957 he led the Poltava organization of the Union of Writers of Ukraine.
Marked with state awards of the USSR, including the Order of Alexander Nevsky .
Creativity
His first story appeared in the Dnepr magazine in the early 1950s.
