Biography

Born in a peasant family.

In 1938 he graduated from the Accounting and Economic College of the State Bank of the USSR. In 1938-1939, he was an inspector of the Yevlakh branch of the State Bank of the Azerbaijan SSR.

In the Red Army since 1939.

Member of the Great Patriotic War since 1941. Red Army man, secretary, instructor for the personnel of the political department of the 76th Rifle Division, deputy commander of the artillery battery for the political part of the 51st Guards Rifle Division of the South-Western and Stalingrad Fronts.

Member of the CPSU (b) since 1942 .

In December 1942 - October 1944 - head of the club of the 51st Guards Rifle Division of the 21st Army of the Voronezh and Baltic Fronts.

Since October 1944 - Head of the House of the Red Army of the 6th Guards Army. He worked as the head of the Red Army Houses of a number of military garrisons.

In 1952 he graduated from the Military-Political Academy named after Lenin.

Since 1952 - deputy head of the political department, head of the political department - deputy for political affairs commander of the mountain rifle division, 1st deputy chief of the political department of the army of the Transcaucasian Military District.

In 1961 he graduated from the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the USSR.

In 1964 - 1968 - Member of the Military Council - Head of the Political Division of the Guards Tank Army of the Group of Soviet Forces in Germany.

In May 1969 - February 1975 - Member of the Military Council - Head of the Political Directorate of the North Caucasus Military District.

In February 1975 - March 1982, he was a member of the Military Council and the head of the Political Directorate of the Kiev Military District.

In 1982 - 1985 - deputy chief of the Civil Defense of the USSR for political affairs.

In 1985 - 1987 - military consultant to the head of the All-Union Research Institute of Civil Defense of the USSR.

In 1987 he retired.

He lived in Moscow. He died in October 2008.
