Content

History

It was founded in 1815 [3] . The farm belonged to the yurt of the village of Dobrinskaya in the Khopersky District of the Land of the Don Don (since 1870 - the Don Don Region ). In 1859, 118 male and 140 female souls lived on the farm [4] . According to the 1897 census , 224 men and 229 women lived on the farm. The majority of the population was illiterate: 47 literate men, 3 women [5] .

According to the alphabetical list of the populated areas of the Don Don Army Area of ​​1915, the farm had a farm board, a steam mill, the land plot of the farm was 687 acres , 224 men and 207 women lived [6] .

Since 1928 - as part of the Uryupinsky district of the Khopyorsky district (abolished in 1930) of the Lower Volga region (since 1934 - the Stalingrad region ) [7] . In 1929 the Red Partisan collective farm was organized (since 1935 the Kirov collective farm) [3]

In 1935, the farm was transferred to the Dobrinsky District [7] of the Stalingrad Territory (from 1936 the Stalingrad Region, from 1954 to 1957 the district was part of the Balashov Region ) [8] .

During the years of World War II , 332 farmers were called up, only a third of the drafted soldiers returned to the farm [3]

In 1963, in connection with the abolition of the Dobrinsky District, the farm was again transferred to the Uryupinsky District [8] .

Geography

The farm is located in a forest-steppe , within the Kalach Upland , at the top of the Bezymyanka beam. The terrain is hilly, heavily crossed by ravines and gullies. The center of the farm is located at an altitude of about 180 meters above sea level. In the area of ​​the farm, there are preserved islets of forest along the beams [9] . The soils are ordinary chernozems [10] .

There is an access to the farm from the Uryupinsk – Vorobyovka highway (3.8 km) [11] . By road, the distance to the regional center of Uryupinsk is 34 km, to the regional center of Volgograd - 360 km [12] .

Climate

The climate is temperate continental (according to the Köppen climate classification - Dfb ). The long-term rainfall is 496 mm. It is located 200 km south of the average value of the climate and wind dividing axis of Voeikov . During the city, the amount of precipitation is distributed relatively evenly: the largest amount of precipitation falls in May and June - 53 mm, the smallest in February - 28 mm. The average annual temperature is positive and amounts to + 6.3 ° С, the average temperature of the coldest month of January is −9.5 ° С, the hottest month of July +21.0 ° С [13] .
