Biography
Since 1928 he worked in Kharkov as a locksmith apprentice and locksmith. In 1935 he graduated from the Kharkov Institute of Railway Engineers, after which he served in the Red Army.
Since 1936, the senior designer of the Kharkov Design Bureau of Mechanical Engineering . Participated in the creation of the T-34 tank.
In 1941, along with design bureaus, he was evacuated to the Uralvagonzavod . He worked in the department of the chief designer: group leader, head of the bureau, from 1960 to 1974 - deputy chief designer.
From 1956 to 1958, the head of the group of Soviet specialists in organizing the production of T-54 tanks in Czechoslovakia .
Member of the creation and development of mass production of T-54 , T-55, T-62 and others.
He was awarded the orders of the October Revolution (1971), "Badge of Honor" (1944) and the medal "For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945."
He died on December 21, 1974 in Nizhny Tagil. He was buried in the Fir Mountains cemetery [1] .
