On August 16, 1942, after bloody battles, the regiment stopped fighting, remaining in the 269th Fighter Aviation Division. In total, the regiment lost at least 8 pilots (of which: 3 died in aerial combat, 1 shot down by anti-aircraft artillery, 4 did not return from a combat mission, 1 died in a plane crash) and 15 aircraft (of which: shot down in aerial combat - 6, shot down by anti-aircraft artillery - 3, did not return from the combat mission - 3, destroyed at the airfield - 2, defeated during a plane crash - 1) [1] .
