thin Matteus Merian (1593-1650)
Asia , Asia ( Hebrew עֲשִׂיָּה , “the real world”) is the last of the four spiritual worlds ( Atzilot , Beria , Yetzirah and Assiya), whose existence is accepted by Kabbalah based on the Book of Isaiah ( Isa. 43: 7 ) [1 ] . All four worlds are inhabited by various spirits and angels [2] .
In contrast to the world of Atzilot, which is the region of the Sefirot , Asia is part of three worlds (together with Beria and Yetzirah), collectively called " Pirud " ("עולם הפירוד" - the world of separation) [2] . According to a short essay by “Maschet Aziloth”, in the world of Asia are the ofanim and the angels fighting evil . The ofanim rule there (wheels gifted with eyes and manpower [3] ): they transmit prayers, help people in their pursuit of good and fight evil; they are ruled by the archangel Sandalfon [1] . He stands on the earth, and his head reaches to the "high" (bestial angels); he “is superior to his brethren over a journey of 500 years and weaves crowns for his Creator” [4] .
According to the later system of Palestinian Kabbalah, Asia is the lowest of the spiritual worlds, and he embraces 10 celestial spheres and our entire material world . The light of the Sefirot flows from these ten heavens, which are called the "Ten Sefirot of the World of Asia"; through them spirituality and grace are communicated to the kingdom of matter , the abode of darkness and unclean forces [1] . The Kabbalists Moshe Cordovero and Yitzhak Luria (XVI century) taught that Asia is the world of fulfillment, that is, the world is visible, and includes various heavens and the material world [2] .
