Nizhnekardailsky is a farm in the Novonikolayevsky district of the Volgograd region , as part of the Kulikovo rural settlement .

Content
History
Presumably founded in the second half of the 19th century. The farm was part of the yurt of the village of Uryupinsky in the Khopersky District of the Land of the Don Don (since 1870 - the Don Don Region ). According to the List of Populated Areas of the Don Army Region in 1873, 70 men and 66 women lived on the Nizhne-Kardailsky farm [2]
According to the 1897 census , 155 men and 159 women lived on the farm. Most of the population was illiterate: 56 of them were literate men and 2 were literate women [3] .
According to the alphabetical list of the populated areas of the Donskoy Army Region in 1915, the farm's allotment was 2611 acres , 200 men and 201 women lived, there was a farm board and a parish school. The farm was served by the Uryupinsky postal and telegraph office [4] .
Since 1928, it has been part of the Novonikolayevsky District of the Khopyorsky District (abolished in 1930) of the Lower Volga Region (since 1934 - the Stalingrad Region , [5] . In 1935 it was included in the Budara District of the Stalingrad Region [5] (since 1936, the Stalingrad Region , from 1954 to 1957, the district was part of the Balashov region ) [6] . In 1960, in connection with the abolition of the Budarinsky district, the Nizhnekardailsky farm was again included in the Novonikolaevsky region [7]
Geography
The farm is located in the forest-steppe , within the Khopersko-Buzuluk plain , which is the southern end of the Oksko-Don Lowland , on the right bank of the Kardail River, opposite the Kikvidze farm. The center of the farm is located at an altitude of about 100 meters above sea level [8] . Soils are ordinary chernozems [9] .
The highway Kulikovsky - Kikvidze - Khopersky passes through the farm. By road, the distance to the regional center of Volgograd is 320 km, to the regional center of the village of Novonikolaevsky - 42 km, to the administrative center of the rural settlement of the Kulikovsky farm - 16 km [10] . The nearest railway station is Yaryzhenskaya, located in the Kulikovsky farm.
