Content
Education
From 1954 to 1958 he studied at the Naval Officer School in Gdynia .
In 1962 he graduated from the Caspian Higher Naval Red Banner School named after S. M. Kirov in Baku (currently the Azerbaijan Higher Naval School ).
In 1970 he graduated from the Naval Orders of Lenin and Ushakov Academy in Leningrad (currently - the Naval Orders of Lenin, the October Revolution and Ushakov Academy named after Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union N. G. Kuznetsov ).
In 1978 he graduated from the Operational and Strategic Graduate School at the Academy of the General Staff of the Polish Army in Warsaw .
Military Service
From 1958 he served on a torpedo boat KT-76, where he was first an assistant to the commander of the ship, and from 1960 to 1961 - the commander of the ship.
In 1970, he took up the post of senior operational assistant for the chief of staff of the 3rd brigade of torpedo boats in Gdynia.
After the disbandment of the 3rd brigade of torpedo boats and the creation of the 3rd Fleet of ships in Gdynia in 1971, he became deputy chief of staff of the flotilla for operational and educational matters.
From 1973 to 1975 - chief of staff of the 3rd Fleet of ships, and then - deputy chief of the operational department of the General Staff of the Polish Navy in Gdynia.
In 1979 - 1983 - the commander of the 8th Flotilla of coastal defense ( Polish. 8 Flotylla Obrony Wybrzeża im. Wiceadmirała Kazimierza Porębskiego ) in иноwinoujцеcie .
Since 1983 - Head of Technical Services and Supplies - Deputy Commander of the Polish Navy, and since February 4, 1986 - Chief of Staff - 1st Deputy Commander of the Polish Navy.
From December 26, 1989 to February 28, 1996 - Commander of the Polish Navy .
March 8, 1996, retired from military service.
He was a member of the board of directors of the tourism company SAZ Biuro Podróży First Class, as well as Megagaz.
