Andreev, Mikhail Nikanorovich

He was born on October 17 ( 29 ), 1867 . From 1876 to 1885 he studied at the “Philological Gymnasium” at the St. Petersburg Philological Institute ; then he entered the Mikhailovsky Artillery School , which he graduated in 1888 in the first category and was made a second lieutenant to the 1st Reserve Artillery Brigade. In 1890 he entered the Mikhailovsky Artillery Academy , which he also graduated from the first category (in 1893) with the production of staff captains ^[1] .

Renamed to guard captains (December 6, 1894); the captain of the guard (6.12.1895). Renamed Lieutenant Colonel Field Artillery in December 1895. In 1899 he was awarded the Order of St. Stanislav 3rd degree.

From 1903 to 1908 he served in the Officer Artillery School until his appointment as commander of the 2nd Division of the Finnish Artillery Brigade. For the difference in service March 31, 1904 was promoted to colonel.

Together with the appointment of the commander of the 50th artillery brigade on March 10, 1912, he was promoted to major general “for distinguished service”. He was awarded the St. George weapons (03/18/1915).

From December 25, 1915, he served as the artillery inspector of the 10th Army Corps ; from October to December 1916 - inspector of artillery of the Danube army , then - inspector of artillery of the 8th army until June 1917.

In 1919 he was in the Volunteer Army .
