Biography

Childhood, youth, learning

Born and raised in Zaporizhia . In 1995 he entered the Zaporozhye State Engineering Academy on the specialty engineer of non-ferrous metallurgy. University graduated in 2000 .

Zaporizhstal OJSC

After graduation he worked at Motor Sich in Zaporozhye. After almost the entire KVN university team got a job at Zaporizhstal OJSC and organized a team of the same name there, he was invited to work at the mechanical workshop of the plant, where he worked for 12 years as a site master.

Hearing loss

In 2000 he completely lost his hearing on the left ear, in 2004 - on the right. However, thanks to prosthetics , doctors returned to him the opportunity to make music.

Personal life

Married to Tonya Matvienko . She has two sons from her first marriage, and on January 15, 2016, Antonina Matvienko gave birth to Arsen’s daughter Nina.

Musical career

Start

He has no professional music education. In 1998, he was invited to one of the "yard" rock bands. Then - in the group "Totem", which - after various reforms and repeated changes in the composition gradually turned into a group "Baburka". It was with this team that I took part in the festivals Pearls of the Season and Chervona Ruta . At one of them, he met Sasha Polozhinsky, the leader of the Tartak group , who soon became the host of the “Fresh Blood” project of the M1 TV channel, whose main goal was to search for young talented groups and performers. In one of these programs, Sasha invited Arsen along with a group [1] . Subsequently, in 2008, he invited to take part in the festival “Tavria Games” as part of his own group “Tartak” , where Arsen instead of Andrey Pidluzhny sang the song “Without telling anyone”. In 2008, he became a finalist in the TNT-Russia television project “Laughter without Rules”. [2]

Country Voice

In 2011 he became a member of the show “Voice of the Country” , having passed the qualifying stages and got to live broadcasts as part of the team of Stas Piekha . On the project among the participants and organizers of the project for Arsen entrenched the title of "rebel" [3] . He took the fourth place in the final, where he performed the author's song “Night”, which later entered the album under a different name “Pregnant Future”. In 2012, he became music advisor to Svetlana Loboda on the show "Voice. Children (Ukraine)" .

The release of two albums

November 30, 2011 the presentation of the debut album "Buttons". The album consists of ten songs and a bonus track - the song “Ivana Kupala” - the author's song of Arsen, which he performs in a duet with Tonya Matvienko . Other Creative Experiments

For several years Zaporizhstal played in the KVN team in the central leagues of the Amik TO. He is a resident of the Comedy Club Ukraine, as well as the comedy shock show “Hooligans” (Zaporizhia). The finalist of the television project channel TNT -Russia "Laughter without rules" (2008). In 2013, he took part in the “HSE” show, but flew out in the second round.
