Album release
The musicians recorded, printed and distributed the new album at their own expense: there was no label ready to take the costs of publishing the album of a successful group - no one was interested in taking on music that was difficult to rotate on the radio and it was not clear how to promote it [1] .
Title

The name of the disc was born from the conflicting opinions of different people about the work of the group:
| Some say, they say, how much you can already sing about the negative, is it really difficult to find positive emotions in life? Often the idea is repeated that the participants of the “Lumen” are simply driven and perceive the world in exceptionally black color. Other listeners, on the contrary, share our point of view. Polar judgments force us to ask questions to ourselves. It is important for us to find our place in this life.- Rustem Bulatov [1] |
Theme
The album’s songs are of a recent anti-war and acutely social character for the group (“Go Swipe,” “False,” “While You Slept,” “Otherwise!”, “Enough!”). The group deliberately abandoned the lyric compositions, focusing on stiff protest.

The album, in addition to the external mood of protest, also reflects the state of “silent” struggle. In fact, the album is based on the intrinsic value of each individual person, his role in society, at the same time considering the individual as an independent unit among the masses of the same (“6 billion”, “Burn”).

Criticism
Immediately after the release of Pravda, the ratings of the fans of the group and music critics were divided into exactly the opposite: from the most positive to sharply negative.
Reviewing the album, Kommersant newspaper columnist Boris Barabanov noted [2] :
| "Lumen" is the maximalism of a beast cornered, poems in which there is a stream of suicidal consciousness of "Civil Defense" and there is a lame youthful romance of an industrial province. |
Mikhail Margolis from Izvestia frankly did not like the album [3] :
| The radicalism of “Lumen” looked very secondary and rehearsed in such a way, and in “Truth” with all its “fucking”, vomiting and chevy guevara it became completely boring. |
Kirill Radchenko, a columnist for NEWSmusic.ru, on the contrary, emphasizes “vocals“ on the verge of disruption ”, with which Tam skillfully balances between sincere transmission of meaning and banal outbursts of aggression” and believes that “it’s really difficult to avoid swear words in such an emotional impulse, if you are a patriot ” [4] :
| Album "Really?" It is recommended for people who are inclined to openly express their civic position and achieve their goals. That is, people who care about the environment. It is not recommended to listen to those who consider thieves' laws to be the only correct ones, as well as to people who categorically do not want to reflect on the content of any songs. |
