Biography
The son of a real state councilor. In 1880-1883 he studied at the "philological gymnasium" at the St. Petersburg Philological Institute . He entered the Physics and Mathematics Department of St. Petersburg University , but in 1884 he moved to the Imperial Medical and Surgical Academy , where in 1889 he graduated from the course with a doctor’s degree with honors. He was appointed a junior doctor in the 23rd artillery brigade in Gatchina, which was part of the 23rd infantry division . In 1892 he was transferred to the 148th Caspian Infantry Regiment. Since 1893 - in the Obukhov hospital , where he was an assistant for surgery [2] .
During the Russo-Japanese War, he served as senior surgeon at the Mongolia hospital ship , which took part in the defense of Port Arthur . The ship had an X-ray room, which was headed by R. Kinast [3] .
In 1924 he was a doctor at the Gosznak outpatient clinic in Leningrad - a surgeon, a specialist in genitourinary diseases [4] .
