Geography
It is located on the local highway Upper Murochi - Ungurkuy - Tamir, on the Kiret River (the right tributary of the Kudara River ), at the southern spurs of the Malkhan Range , 15 km west of the center of the rural settlement - the village of Tamir , and 75 km east of the regional center - Kyakhta city.
History
Before the revolution, it was part of the Tamir volost of the Verkhneudinsky district of the Transbaikal region , later in the Troitskosavsky district of the Transbaikal region. The population in 1896 was 247 people [2] .
