Michael Bentt ( born Michael Bentt , born September 4, 1965 , London , England ) - American boxer - professional of British origin, five-time US champion among amateurs, world champion among professionals in heavyweight according to WBO . Since 1975, began his actor career. For 2019 he starred in 37 films, including Shadow Boxers (1999), where he plays himself. His role as Sonny Liston in the film Ali [1] is also widely known. Bent, along with Mike Weaver, are the only world heavyweight champions who began their careers with knockout defeats [2] [3] .
