Early years
Dennis Salanovic’s parents have Bosnian roots. Dennis's mother was born in Austria, and in her youth left to work in Liechtenstein. With the future father of the player - Bego Salanovich - she met in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The family moved to Liechtenstein, where Dennis Salanovich was born on February 26, 1996 in Vaduz. He received his first football education in the school of the club "Shaan" , where his father worked as a coach [1] . The younger brother of Dennis Salanovich - Aaron - is also a football player and is still playing at the junior level for the Liechtenstein U-19 team.
Club career
In February 2014, Salanovich falls into the Atletico Madrid system, becoming the first football player from Liechtenstein in the history of the Spanish grande. In Madrid, the player spent 1 year, after which he decided to start an adult career and signed a contract with the Croatian club Istra 1961 . To fix in the composition of his first adult club Salanovich failed, and at the beginning of the 2015/16 season he practically ceased to fall into the lineup after the change of head coach. In the winter of 2016, the football player moved to one of the Liechtenstein clubs - Balzers , where, under the guidance of a famous Liechtenstein player, Mario Frick spent the rest of the season in the First League of Switzerland.
Rapperswil Yona
Club career Salanovich continued in the system of Swiss leagues. He started the 2016/17 season as part of the Rapperswil-Yona League Promotion Team. The club, which had never before risen above the third level of the Swiss league system, won its division that season and started the summer in the Challenge League . Salanovich was one of the key players of the team, scoring 5 goals in 23 games. In the Challenge League, Salanovich continued to play consistently under the leadership of the new head coach . The team performed well for the beginner, becoming the fifth of ten teams, and Salanovich scored two goals and gave nine assists in thirty games.

In the summer of 2018, the Tun club of the Swiss Super League became interested in the player. June 11, 2018, it was announced the signing of a three-year contract with the forward. [2] . Liechtenstein team
Since 2013, Dennis Salanovich has been attracted to the games of youth and youth teams of Liechtenstein. At this level, the striker has spent more than 10 matches in which he scored 1 goal (against the youth team of Portugal). His first match for the national team of Liechtenstein Salanovich played on September 4, 2014 against the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, replacing Philip Erne in the 63rd minute of the match [3] . He scored his first goal for the national team on December 14, 2017 in Qatar in a friendly against the local national team .
