Akmaev, Ravil Sibgatullovich

Born on August 7, 1948 in the city of Stakhanov in the Luhansk region ^[1] . 1967-In 1967-1972 he studied 1967-1972 in the specialty of the teacher-defectologist at the Slavic State Pedagogical Institute . He studied painting at the Honored Artist of Ukraine from Lugansk, Ivan Kondratievich Gubsky ^[1] . In 1962-1967 he studied at the Moscow correspondence university of arts .

The work of the artist began in the 1980s with a political and social poster. Akmaev won the ten awards at the All-Union and Ukrainian poster competitions. In the 1990s he began working in easel painting . In 2010 he began to engage in sculpture of small forms ^[2] . Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1990. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine ^[3] . Member of the Union of Tatar artists "Russ" since 2008.

In the paintings of R. Akmayev, lyrics and quiet sadness always border on irony, close to surrealism . Reality in combination with the surreal allows the artist to solve the task on the plane of the canvas.

He worked as a graphic designer of the Donetsk Artistic and Industrial Works of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine ^[4] . The works of Ravil Akmayev are in museums and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Poland, USA ^[1] .

In 2015, the Odessa Publishing Center "DELUXE" released a deck of playing cards with photographic reproductions of paintings, graphics and sculptural works of Ravil Akmaev. The author of the project and the map layout was Evgeny Aleksandrovich Malakha ^{[5] [6]} .

On December 25, 2018, the state enterprise “ Mail of Donbass ” introduced a series of eight copyright postcards of Ravil Akmayev with watercolor landscapes of Donetsk ^{[7] [8] [9]} .

In 2014, on the Shevchenko Boulevard, Donetsk, the urban sculpture of Ravil Akmayev “ Friend ” was installed, which depicts a man covering an umbrella with a dog. This sculptural composition is mainly based on the same picture by the author in 1996 ^{[10] [11] [12] [13] [14]} . Also in the plans was the installation of two more sculptures "Mozart" - on Lenin Square near the Donetsk Philharmonic building, and "Baby-Boom" (a woman walking with a stroller) - on the embankment of the Nizhnekalmiusky reservoir , but these plans were not realized ^[15] . During the armed conflict in Donbas, Akmaev created a draft of a monument to dead children ^[15] .
