Many sources mention his nickname Cadoirac or Cadenat ( Snub - nosed ). But according to Kursel’s statement, it’s just scribes of documents that distorted the count’s second name - Talleyrand (instead of Taleranus, the copyist wrote Caderanus ) [1] .

Biography
The eldest son is Eli II . The exact date when he succeeded his father is not known, possibly even in early childhood. Some historians argue that after Eli II, the earl of Perigord was his younger brother Boson III, and after him, from about the middle of the 1040s, Aldeber II, and he could be the son of Boson [2] .
Aldeber II was at enmity with Bishop Perigueux Girard de Gordon until his death, which followed in 1059. The reason for the quarrel was the bishop's refusal to recognize as authentic coins minted by Count Eli II.
In 1080, Aldeber II made his eldest son, Eli III, his co-ruler. However, he died while his father was still alive.
Aldeber II was married (possibly a second marriage) to Ascelina de Grignoles, daughter and heiress of Boson, Senor de Grignoles.

Odber II (Audebert II) (1010/1015 - 1072/1073) - the son of Bozon III (990/995 - 1031/1044) and his wife Aina (c. 995-1072), daughter of Gerot, Syrah de Montignac. He was married to Ascelina (Aremburg?) De Salagnac (1020/1025 - c. 1085), the daughter of Gerot (?) De Salagnac.
